This Privacy Policy explains how Tikobaze collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our event ticketing platform, including our website and the Tikobaze Organizer mobile app. By using Tikobaze, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Account information: When you register or sign in, we collect your name, email address, and, if you provide it, your phone number, so we can authenticate you and link you to your account.
Event and ticket data: We process the events, ticket categories, ticket buyers, and check-in records that belong to your account.
Payment information: Payments are processed securely through M-Pesa and other authorized payment methods. We process the details needed to complete a purchase or a payout.

Tikobaze Organizer is the organizer companion app for the Tikobaze events platform. This section explains what the app collects, why, and your choices. It applies in addition to the general Privacy Policy above.
Account information. When you sign in we process your name, email address and, if you add it, your phone number, so we can authenticate you and link you to your events.
Event and ticket data. The app displays data that belongs to your organizer account, including your events, ticket categories, ticket buyers (name, phone number, ticket code) and check-in records. You act as the controller of your attendees' data; we process it on your behalf to provide the service.
Financial information. To pay you out, we process the payout details you add, such as your M-Pesa phone number or bank account name, number and branch, and your wallet and payout history. Payout methods are verified with a one-time code.
Camera. The app uses your device camera only to scan ticket QR codes at check-in. Scanned images are processed on the device and are not stored or uploaded as photos.
Photos. If you choose to upload an event poster or organizer logo, the app accesses the image you select so it can be uploaded to your event. We do not browse or collect your other photos.
Device information. To secure the scanner, we record a device identifier and device name for the devices you register to scan a given event, so you can review and revoke them.
